How do you engage three very active boys? Send them to anything that Kaye McKee is spearheading at A Spacious Place! My three boys have been active in A Spacious Place activities for the past four years. They would never even consider missing the time they spend with the McKee family.
Young Writers Club acts as a think tank for children. The McKees do various games and activities that get their juices flowing and next thing you know creativity is pouring out.
My three very active boys see A Spacious Place events as a treat. They are excited to go and then never want to leave.
A Spacious Place truly celebrates the individual child. Each child feels special, heard, and validated.
The McKee family has a very special energy that flows between them. There is a great comfortable ease where ideas and laughter gently bounce back and forth among them and you know you want to share in what they have. The best part is that everyone is invited with open arms.
The first project my three boys did with A Spacious Place was a Christmas play when they were nine years old. They loved every second of the process to prepare for the big performance. Next they attended a summer creativity camp where they had a blast and they have gone every year since.
Now, for the past two years, they have attended the Young Writers Club on one Saturday a month. They have only missed one time because we had family traveling in that we only see one to two times a year and the boys were very bummed they were going to miss Young Writers Club.
I highly endorse anything associated with A Spacious Place.
